With the sudden unexpected attack Raziel had done and the kidnaping of Niniane caused a lot of attention. Mingi and the others decided to fight the guards and some citizens of the island fought along with them at the sight of Princess Cat in her Lynn form. This also attracted the attention of EmLynn, but she didn't do anything. She only stood at the balcony of the castle and watched the warriors fight off her guards. It didn't take them long before the last of her guards was dead.
"I think that was a little bit too easy for you all." She said to herself. Raising one hand above her head she began to chant a conjuring spell in an unfamiliar language. She began to float and her pupils became white, then starting to scream her chants it grabbed the attention of the group. Screaming the last words she pointed her hand to the ground just in front of the group. A beam shot from her hand and the beam began to create something. After a couple of seconds a huge 'love monster' stood before them. The one that Tickashi and Cyrus had ran from.
Mingi who had no weapon looked around herself for something to fight with. "Mingi! The sword!" Cat yelled to Mingi, indicating the one sword that belonged to Gitago's son, just behind the monster.
"Distract it." Mingi told the others.
Jun raised her stick above her head. "Hurricane!!" She screamed then threw her stick and it twirled in the air. When it came close to the ground it stopped and hovered for a second then started to spin slow at first then faster. Water burst from the ground and twirled like a tornado. Jun used her hands to control the hurricane. Raising it higher then slamming it into the monster.
Mingi ran to the sword then grabbed it's hilt with both her hands. The ruby glowed, then beams of light shot out through the cracks in the rock. Mingi then pulled it out and held it above her head. The ruby glowed brightly and a fire bird flew out of the ruby. It was small at first, it twisted around the monster and became huge. It then engulfed the monster reducing it to ashes. The bird shrank while entering back into the ruby.
Raziel ran down the halls of the castle. "Niniane where are you?" He yelled.
A blue light flashed knocking out a door. Raziel knew exactly who did that and ran to the room. Looking in Niniane floated in the air with a blue glow around her. Her back was facing Raziel and he saw Lotus sitting in a chair looking happy.
"Niniane?" Lotus smiled. "Is that your name?" He asked Niniane. "It's a beautiful name."
Raziel walked up to Niniane who landed back to the ground and the blue glow faded away. Raziel reached out a hand towards Niniane's shoulder and turned Niniane to face him. Her eyes were shut and her head tilted down. "Niniane?" He asked softly.
Niniane's eyes popped open and there wasn't any pupils in her eyes and the way her eyes squinted, he could tell she looked at him with hatred. "Hahahahahahahahaha." Lotus laughed. "She's mine now. Get rid of him, my love."
Niniane's weapon appeared in her hand and before Raziel could do anything she smacked him with it. As Niniane continued to attack Raziel, Lotus laughed. Raziel would try his best to stay alive, but wouldn't attack back at her. She finally grabbed a hold of Raziel and threw him out a window. Raziel twisted himself in the air and landed safely on his feet. Niniane also jumped out the window after him.
Now outside the castle there is more room for him to move around and dodge Niniane's attacks while he thinks of something he could do to make her stop. She continuously swung her weapon at Raziel. After having dodging a lot of her swings he noticed this was a bit easy for him. Niniane could fight much more violently than she is now. "Niniane, I don't know what that BASTARD did to you! But you must try and stop this! I'm not your enemy!" Raziel yelled.
"Raziel!" Niniane screamed, then like crazy started swinging her weapon. Making it more difficult for Raziel to dodge them all.
Niniane had knocked Raziel down and she raised her weapon high above her head, ready to finish Raziel off. Tears weld up in Niniane's eyes. "NO! Stop!" She screamed throwing her weapon far away. The father the weapon got the more it started to fade, then disappeared. Niniane fell to her knees crying. Electricity started to shine around her neck and she screamed in pain.
"Stop trying to fight it." Lotus said appearing behind Niniane. "You belong to me now."
"I'll never be yours..." Niniane sobbed. Gripping at whatever was around her neck. "NEVER!!!" Her weapon reappeared in her hand. "DIE!!" Niniane jumped up and aimed her weapon to strike Lotus in the chest.
Lotus only eyed her and more electricity shot at a ruby choker that was around her neck. She screamed and gripped at the choker, but no matter how she tried it wouldn't come off. Niniane fainted in mid-air and started to fall. Raziel ran and caught her, looked at her and softly sided strands of hair that was over her face. "Niniane, don't worry. I'll take care of you." He softly said to Niniane.
"Don't fool yourself." Lotus laughed. "She'll never belong to you."
Raziel eyed Lotus. "Bastard..." He drew his sword then charged at Lotus.
Lotus jumped up, but Raziel was quick and threw his sword up and it stabbed Lotus in the side. He then disappeared, and Raziel caught his sword as it fell. Before he knew it he ran in the opposite direction he was facing. Not knowing what he was doing. He then saw Lotus appear not to far ahead of him and his back facing Raziel. Speeding up the then used his body and slammed into Lotus, throwing him far ahead of him. Not standing in place, Raziel ran and jumped kick Lotus when he was getting up. He then stood his ground as he watched Lotus run in retreat.
Running his fore fingers up the blade of the sword and his eyes shut, he concentrated on the white mage power that was in him. Wind started to blow heavily around him, he then opened his eyes and glared at Lotus. "Powers of the wind, give my sword strength and speed." Once his entire sword glowed he threw it. The sword flew with tremendous speed. Lotus turned to look behind him and before he could do anything the sword stabbed him straight through. "That was for you, Niniane." Raziel said.
He turned and walked back to Niniane and held her in his arms. Niniane blinked her eyes open. "Raziel..." She smiled weakly.
Raziel tightly hugged Niniane. "Don't say anything. Just let me hold you."
Niniane’s eyes were a little shock at first, then her eyes softened into sadness and sympathy and wrapped her arms around Raziel.
The group looked up to see EmLynn angered, she then softened and let out a sigh. "I guess, I gave you a too easy opponent." She said calmly flipping some hair over her shoulder. "Try this one on for size!!!" She raised her hand above her head.
Suddenly a hand reached out and grabbed EmLynn's wrist. "No," Jaton said stepping up beside EmLynn. "Let me handle this one."
A fan then flew threw the air and nearly struck Jaton in the face. His face became angered and looked up. "Leave them be!!" Kitana said floating in the air with a bladed fan in one hand and a short sword in the other. "You have me to deal with."
"Now I remember why I was so attracted to you, Kitana." Jaton smirked. "You're not only beautiful, but a master of every weapon ever created and very challenging. You were much weaker than I thought, though." He let out a short laugh. "I defeated you once, I can do it again."
"Fat chance!!!" Kitana yelled throwing her fan.
Jaton jumped up missing the attack from Kitana. He flew, charging at Kitana. She held up her short sword close to her face and it started to glow, and became a long sword. Jaton threw a fireball with dark circles outlining it. Kitana held the long sword in front of her and it bounced off the sword and headed back towards Jaton. Taking no chances she charged forward behind the fireball.
The fireball hit Jaton and Kitana just behind it stuck Jaton through the shoulder, then used both of her feet and kicked him sending him flying downwards. Kitana then transported herself just below Jaton and her hand and a huge root shot out from the ground towards Jaton. He moved out of the way just in time to miss the root and it went back into the ground. Kitana kicked him in the back when he moved out of the way when the root was about to strike him. Kitana then threw a green ball of light and it struck Jaton in the back.
Jaton fell to the ground hard, leaving a shape of his body. He layed still for awhile then his body lit afire. Kitana landed on the ground by Jaton's flamed body. She waved one hand and the flame went out and all that layed there was Jaton's body black from the fire.
Kitana turned and looked at EmLynn who only starred back at her with calm eyes. Kallima then appeared beside EmLynn, with a smile across her face. "Maybe I underestimated Jaton." Kallima said. "He was a weakling this whole time." Kallima looked down at the group and eyed Tickashi. "You! You're the reason Angel became so strong and resisted Jaton's charm."
"What?" Tickashi asked confused.
"Don't play stupid with me!" Kallima snapped. "You're the descendent of her lover, and she fell in love with you again!" Kallima glowed a red color. "And... once again you're just going to have to die." Circles danced in patterns in front of Kallima's forehead. It then glowed bright and shot out towards Tickashi.
Angel jumped in front of the attack. Kallima's eyes grew wide in shock. Angel caught the ball them threw it back at Kallima. She jumped away from her own attack, but couldn't get away fast enough from getting hit in the back by the force. She landed sliding across the ground and stopped by Angel's feet. "Stand back everyone. This is between me and Kallima."
Kallima stood up and glared at Angel ready to fight. A flash of light shined in the sides of their eyes, they turned to the digging site to see EmLynn floating from the hole with the orb in her hands. She pointed her hand at Kitana and blasted her away, her body glowed a fire-red and an evil grin spread across her face.
Kallima smiled. "She has succeeded in her task. Now my own creation; my daughter shall rule by my side."
"How--?" Mingi began to say confused. "She must of snuck down to the digging site while out attentions were on Kallima."
"What are we going to do?" Yuni asked. "She's merging with the orb and at anytime now, she'll be a god."
"Not if I can help it!" Mingi sneered. Mingi tossed her sword to EmLynn. "Catch!!"
"NOOOOOOOOO!!" Kallima screamed, then shot a huge beam towards the group.
EmLynn had caught the sword and let out a scream dropping the orb and shined with light shooting out from her body. Angel gripped her head as the group was blown away and EmLynn turning into a corpse, Kallima churning to the ground from the death of her own creation. Niniane and Raziel had already died from being crushed under debris from the castle from the ball Angel threw back at Kallima.
"Stop it--" She chocked out shaking her head. "No more death... stop it..." The island then started to fall since the orb had been removed. "No more!!" Angel screamed. The bottom of the island hit the ground and started to tilt. "STOP IT!!!!" Angel screamed her lungs out.
At Angel's scream the orb glowed brightly, then split into two equal parts. One entered back into the hole and the ground closing up after it. The other entered Angel's stomach, but no changes happened to her. A bright light then shined in front of her as the island started to tilt back up. The light then formed into Kinoato only transparent. "Angel," Kinoato spoke. "You are the chosen one."
"Chosen one?" Angel asked confused, standing to her feet.
"You now bear child." Kinoato said raising his paw to her stomach. "I chose you over the other goddesses to bear a child."
"But, I have..." Angel tried to speak, but she couldn't find the right words.
"Listen." Kinoato spoke softly. "Goddesses can't bear children, only I choose you to bear one of your own. She shall be different and stronger than you are, and I even added features of her father. You're first lover, and his descendant."
"What am I going to do?" Angel asked Kinoato. "You're creations, my friends. They're all dead."
"You have the power to restore them," Kinoato answered. "Now that you bare a child you've become stronger then before." Kinoato then disappeared the same way he appeared.
Angel stood in silence for awhile. She looked around herself and only saw death, even the sight of Kallima who was only unconscious brought that eerie feeling to Angel's heart. "... A child..." Angel whispered to herself, placing a hand softly on her stomach. A small glow came from the touch. "Yes, I have the power... I can make things right."
"Goddess Angel?" Yousef asked from behind her. "What happened.
Yousef looked at Angel with concern, she was the only person standing with lots of dead bodies around her. "Yousef take your men and go home." Angel replied calmly.
"The battle has been lost? Where's Mingi and the others?" Yousef asked.
Angel slowly turned her turned her head away from Yousef's view. She looked forward at the crumbled island. "They're dead..."
"What...?" Yousef asked shocked.
"Leave now, Yousef." Angel said not turning to face him. "Take your men and leave now... there's something I must do."
Yousef was about to continue to protest, but Aura grabbed his arm and shook her head. "Let's go, Yousef." Aura said softly.
Angel held out her hands about an inch apart and a white glow started to shine between her hands. She held it up to her face and blew it. The glowing ball floated over to Yousef, Aura and his troops, it then grew larger engulfing the them. With a bright flash of light they disappeared, returning them back to the land below. "Now is the time..." Angel said to herself. She then glowed brightly and small sparks flew from her spiraling around her. More and more of the sparks surrounded Angel and started to spread out all over the island.
The island was then being surrounded itself in small sparks, then all at once the sparks glowed brightly and the island disappeared. All the damage around the island was as if the island was never there. All was quiet and peaceful as it was meant to be.
Cat stood at the edge of her island, looking down at the clouds slowly making its way across the sky as well as looking at the land and bodies of the water. "Hello, Princess Cat." A voice said behind Cat.
She turned to see Angel. "Why, hello Angel." Cat smiled. "Thank you so much for putting my island back where it belongs."
"It was only made possible because I bare child." Angel replied.
"Wha-? Since when?" Cat asked.
"Kinoato appeared after all of you had died." Angel said. "He then entered and exact duplicate of the orb in me and granted me the power of birth. Only it's different for us, because while the child grows in me, my power becomes 10 times my original power. After I give birth to the child I would become weaker than I originally was."
"That must really suck." Cat replied.
"Yeah it does, but since Tickashi is an immortal and Kinoato put some of his traits into my child. This would make her the most special of all goddesses, and even stronger than me and can never die, not even by another god. That will only happen when I die and pass my powers to her."
"How do you know it's going to be a girl?" Cat asked.
Angel laughed. "You should know by now, that since I have to give birth to my new self, I can only have girls."
"Oh," Cat chuckled. "I guess you're right."
"Well, I guess I should be going now." Angel said. "Let life continue on as it should've."
"Angel?" Cat asked, stopping Angel. "Do you think any magic holders would be able to bring us back down to earth?"
"No, this time you have great power and only you can control the island to go down or not. Plus there is a barrier around the island so that no other magic holders can penetrate the barrier." Angel said.
"Do you think... me and Ikari can ever be--" Cat didn't finish her sentence and tried to find the words to finish it.
Angel layed a hand on Cat's shoulder. "I'm not sure, and I don't think it would work out. Only because you have to continue your blood line. Only getting with Ikari would destroy the Lynns environment." Angel explained.
"It's so unfair," Cat sobbed. "I never asked to be a princess or a legend..."
"Nobody ever asks to be anything they dislike. It just happens." Angel said. "Even I can't do anything. I just want to live a normal life. Not to live for eternity having to fight."
"So, it's only over for now." Cat said.
"That's right." Angel said.
"Cat!!" Yuni yelled, running up to Cat. "Come on you must hurry and get ready for the ceremony."
"I'm gonna finally be queen." Cat told Angel.
"Congratulations." Angel smiled and bowed. "Farewell, Cat."
"Until next time, Angel." Cat then walked with Yuni to the ceremonial hall in the castle.
Angel took one more look down at the world and saw images appear in the clouds. Images of her friends that are now down on earth living their normal lives. There was an image of Niniane and Raziel kissing doing the final part of their wedding ceremony. The next image was Kannuki and Sephy yelling at each other, but a word wasn't heard. Sephy started laughing at Kannuki about something and he walked off and kicked a ball that hit Sephy upside the head. Kannuki laughed really hard and falls to the ground still laughing. It then changes to Mingi learning how to use her new sword and defeated a monster with her sword using one of the spirits that are contained in her sword, then smiling with victory and joy. The image changed to Jun being praised by people when she just save a village from a flood. These were all happy images. With a smile on her face she vanished.
"That's right, until next time." A man said appearing after Angel had vanished. "It's not over yet." The man clenched his fist and smiled.
