Nervous, nervous, nervous. Celes has been missing since this morning, where can she be? Her protectors have shown up out of no where. So that means she is fine. But where can she be? So many different people want to see her dead.
Horns then singed and they rang the gongs. That means she's hear. She's all right! She's safe! I started to run to the entrance gate, but some guys I knew tripped me. "Hey!" I yelled when I jumped up from the ground.
"Keep dreaming, Cecil." One of the guys laughed at me.
"Yeah, Cecil. Celes would never have a thing for you."
They all laughed and walked away. I only sneered and ran to the gate entrance. As the gates opened I was Celes and a smile spread across my face. "Celes--" I was gonna say more, but the guys that opens the gates dropped wood on my head.
I heard some laughter and felt someone hold my head up. "Cecil?" Celes...Celes is hold me in her arms. She smacked me lightly on the cheek. "Cecil? Wake up."
I felt myself smile and I opened my eyes and I noticed that Celes had two friends with her. "Hello Celes." I said with a smile. "I'm glade you're back...safely." Celes smiled and helped me to my feet. One of the two ladies with her was really nice looking, but my heart belonged to Celes. At least she had pretty hair, the color of the sun. The other was old looking and wore a cloak around her. So, I couldn't get a look at her face, but she did have some of her brown hair with grey streaks sticking out of the hood of the cloak.
"Cecil," Celes began. "This is Angel and Mingi." They bowed at the call of their names. "This is Cecil." I bowed.
"Celes?" She turned to me. "Did...you get hurt?"
"It's okay, Cecil." Celes smiled. Oh, how pretty she looks when she smiles. "Golbez had his demons possess my ninjas. So--"
"Argh!!" I interrupted balling a fist. "I can't stand that guy! I just want to rip his head off, and - and --"
"Cecil!?!" Celes interrupted. "You know I won't let you fight Golbez. You're no match for him. Neither am I. So it seems Mingi was no match for him."
I turned to Mingi whom removed her hood. "I may be old, but my skills don't leave me."
"Come," Celes bowed. "Let's go to my home for tea."
As we headed to Celes's home I over heard some of the guys talking about Angel. "Look at her hair! Isn't it great?" "No, look at that body." "Man she's gorgeous." Sighing and shaking my head I remembered that there are more guys here then girls. Most guys would fight over Celes. For she is the prettiest to ever live here.
I remember how me and her were kids. I was her best friend then, but now that I am older, my feelings soon changed to love. I've always been afraid to ask her about marriage. Only because I'm afraid of her turning me down and losing our friendship. I'm gonna do it today. While all the guys are drooling over Angel. I'll do it before anyone else can steal her. What am I talking about!?!....never mind I'm still shy....
We all reached her big house. A big and beautiful house. There is also a temple to the right of her Chinese house that people got to asking Celes to heal them or someone. People all over Asia come here, bringing the injured or gold, silk or treasures to give her for her good deeds.
Celes had gone to change into her kimono. Tying her beautiful white hair up into a bun being held by designer chop sticks. We all set at the table sitting on white silk pillows. Mingi had taken off her cloak and I see that she had quite a body for someone as old as her. Kind of amazing. Celes had gone into the kitchen to fetch the tea dynasty she owned as well as to heat up the tea.
I looked at Mingi whom sat across from me. "What arts do you know? You must know something powerful to beat Golbez."
"I am the best of the White-Mage Warriors." She replied.
"White-Mage Warriors!?!" I was shocked. "The best!?! Wow, I've always wanted to meet one of you guys." I paused. "But isn't it true that only men were allowed to become a member of the White-Mage Warriors?"
Mingi nodded. "Yes, only men. I became a member when I was only a child. The grand master of Japan found me and I was raised as a White-Mage."
"Wow. Japan." I then turned to Angel. She looked kind of down. "Are you all right?" I asked, I seemed to pull her out of her thoughts. "Where do you travel from Angel?"
"I don't know..." Angel said silently. "I don't know who or where I'm from."
"Oh, I'm...sorry." I said sadly.
"I'm in search for my past. I think I tried to kill myself, but I want to know why." Angel faced Mingi.
"I am in search for part of my past." Mingi draws out her great looking sword. "I want to know where I got this from. Also why I have it. Anyone that touches this sword dies..."
Celes then enters the room with the tea set and a smile on her face. She pours a cup for all of us. We all chatted a bit. About the village and how famous Celes is.
"Celes?" Angel began setting her tea cup down. "What is it about green eyes that are so shocking?"
Celes takes a deep breath, "There is an old cave not to far from here. In ancient Chinese writing it tells a story about a girl. A girl who will be born from a goddess with green eyes. And this child would have mystical powers beyond her mothers and any other god." Celes takes a sip of her tea. "But, no one really believed this legend. No Chinese girl could really have green eyes."
We all finished our tea, and Celes told Angel she had something to give her. She left the room for a second then returned with something wrapped in a clothe. "Here." Celes said with a smile.
Angel unwrapped the silk to reveal a sword. She picked it up and drew it from its white leather case. She looked at the sword admiring it. There were angel wings that held to blade and the sword together. With a small white emerald in the center of the wings. "It was found in the cave. I think it suits your name." Celes smiled.
Angel then looked at some ancient writing on the blade. "That symbol?" She pointed at the symbol on the blade. "Mingi it's the same symbol as the one in your temple. Mingi looked at the symbol as well. "This symbol may have something to do with your past."
"I want to travel with you both." Celes said excited.
"But, Celes-" I started but Celes interrupted me.
"Oh, Cecil! You know more than anyone that I've always wanted to go on an adventure." She said in somewhat of a beg.
I turned to Angel and Mingi. "Then I'm coming with." Celes then hugged me. "I don't want to leave you alone again, Celes." I smiled, I feel like I'm about to faint.
"Oh, Cecil," Celes said. "I hope you remember your training."
I nodded. "Don't worry, Celes. I still remember."
"Okay, give me a second and I'll be back in a flash." Celes ran into another room. Well, it took her more than a second, but she returned in her clothes and her nagitana in hand. "Okay, ready let's get going."
Outside of the gates of Takenchi. We paused and looked around. "Where to now?" I asked.
"To the next village." Angel said.
"Then that would be Sheling." Celes said pointing north. "It's a village of gambling, roller coasters and fun."
We all nodded and started our journey north to Sheling.
