Part Ten

Lady Schala and Alucard became a wonderful married couple. Then Celes caught the bouquet. Maybe me and Celes will truely be married finally. Like we should have long ago. I know she likes me and she knows I like her the same way. I hope being a groom would be as much fun as when we were with Alucard. It was so much fun. Kannuki kept making faces at Fenrir who wasn't allowed in.

Oh, Celes, I know we are meant to be. Husband and wife, and children, yes. We will defiantly have children. How ever many you want. We can have 10 children if you want. Anything to that keeps you happy.

We soon got closer to the village Xiasho. It's a lot bigger that the other villages. As we reached the gates to guards called down to us. "Who goes there?" one of the guards yelled.

"We are just humble travelers, we're only stopping here for food and supplies." Angel called back. The two guards talked to each other before calling down on the other side of the wall. The gates rumbled open.

We all entered the village, there were guards everywhere and a big beautiful temple like a manshion at the end of the village. A man in gold armor and a white cape walked up to us. He removed his helmet, letting his black hair fall loose. He wore it up in a loose pony tail with braids here and there.

He walked before us. The closer he got the more I noticed how he looked better than I did. I slid my arm around Celes's shoulder holding her close. The warrior soon came closer to us and bowed. "My name is Ishiyuki. I am the mayor and the captain of the guards of this village."

We all bowed back. "Pleased to be here." Angel said.

"Why so many guards?" Ledia asked.

"This is one of the guarding villages of the city, Talisho."

"Talisho?" Fenrir asked. "The city of the Empress Camellia?"

"Yes." Ishiyuki nodded. "But, the Empress disappeared many years ago. Her Captain of the guards now rules in her place."

"Empress Camellia?" Mingi confusedly asked. "I don't get it? What ever happened to her?"

"We don't know." Ishiyuki shook his head. "We've been searching for her for years. We've found no trace of her."

"Do you know at least what she looks like?" Kannuki asked.

"That's the only problem. We are the only village that guards the city that has no picture of what she looks like. We've been waiting for sometime, but still received nothing."

"So sorry to hear that." Moonlight said.

"Please, let us talk in a more private area." Ishiyuki gestured us to follow him to his manshion.

As we followed, Celes turned to me. "Cecil, you look confused." She said also putting her arm around me.

"I've never heard of Empress Camellia." I answered confused.

"Figures," Celes looked forward. "Empress Camellia is a magical Empress. No one dares stand in her way. She is all powerful, even greater than mine. Yet, even under her tough acts she is kind of gentle. No one know of where she came from, she just showed up at the city and ruled out the old Emperor. Ever since then all of Asia has lived in peace. Only she has disappeared. Chaos shows every once in a while, but it stays calm none-the-less. The only strange thing is she's only been an Empress for so long and not many people know what she looks like."

"Strange." I said speechless.

I've known for some time that Celes has wanted to meet the Empress of Asia. Although I have never heard her name been called before. I have heard a few things about her. They would say that even if she has disappeared, evil knows that she's still alive, she can't die. She will always be around to stop evil.

We entered the great manshion that belongs to Ishiyuki. It was filled with stuff I wish I owned. He lead us into a room with a fireplace only it wasn't lit. He gestured us to sit in chairs, we did. "Tell me where you all came from?" He asked.

"I come from Ling-sho." Moonlight bowed.

"I did come from Japan." Ledia said.

"I was rescued from a circus." Fenrir said.

"I come from Sheling." Kannuki raised his hand.

"I'm from Takenchi." Celes said.

"Me too." I said quickly after Celes said it.

"I'm from the temple of the White-Mage Warriors." Mingi said.

Angel just sat in silence. "What's wrong Angel?" Ledia asked.

"I wish I only knew." Angel lays her hand over her heart. "For some reason I feel pain right here. An emotional pain, only I don't know where the pain comes from."

"So you don't know where you are from?" Ishiyuki asks.

"No," Angel shook her head. "I don't even know my name."

"We all joined Angel in her journey for her past." Celes said.

"Toshie had told us that we were all somehow connected into this search for a past." Moonlight soon said.

"When did he tell you that?" Kannuki asked.

"We both have the power of the mind." Moonlight said. "I haven't mastered the skill, but Toshie has taught me a lot of the power. That was the one thing Toshie never told you guys. We are all connected. I some how knew I was as well, that you all may need me."

"Maybe she's right." Fenrir said. "I would have left you all long ago, but for some reason. I felt that I needed to stay with all of you."

"What about the city Talisho?" Angel asked. "Does anyone know what that city has to do with anything?"

"What does Talisho have to do with anything at all?" Mingi asked. "No one ever mentioned it."

"No," Angel said confused. "I could have sworn someone did."

"No one said anything about the city." Fenrir pointed out.

"Well, I heard someone say 'Go to Talisho and you all will find out everything you wanted to know." Angel said staring into blankness.

Everyone sat in silence for awhile, until all of a sudden Mingi's sword flies up by itself. A white glow surrounded the sword as it twirled with the blade facing up to the heavens. It lingered closer down to all of us who sat in a big circle.

We all looked in shock at the sword. "You are now close to the city..." A female voice said almost in a whisper. "If you want to know everything...if you want to know what is going on...go to the city..."

Mingi stood up. "Tell us who you are."

"No...time..." the voice said more weak. "Time is running out...hurry...get to the city before time runs out."

"How long do we have?" Ledia asked

"Two days..." The voice said its final words and the light faded and the sword fell to the ground with a clink.

"The-the sword talked." Kannuki said wide eyed.

"Do you think that's the spirit Toshie was talking about?" Ledia pointed out turning to Mingi.

"Maybe so." Mingi said picking up her sword and putting it back. "But the spirit said to go to the city as soon as we can."

"You can't get to the city in two days tops!" Ishiyuki yelled. "It'll take weeks to get to the city!"

"If you truly are one of the guarding villages of Talisho. Then you wouldn't build you villages so far away." Fenrir said with a sneer at Ishiyuki.

"You're right and I know that, but ever since the captain of the guards took over he has executed any man that has gone against his orders!" Ishiyuki said with some anger in his voice. "My life is, but to protect. That's all. So don't blame me."

Moonlight and Celes held Fenrir back. "Don't worry." Moonlight said. "Who's ever spirit is in Mingi's sword may appear again."

"Let's go," Mingi said starring at her sword weirdly.

Angel gave a strange look at Ishiyuki before following behind Mingi. Kannuki and Fenrir followed Moonlight and Ledia. Me and Celes starred at each other for a bit, then Celes walked out, I took one last look at Ishiyuki, who had his head low. I turned my head from him and followed Celes.

Outside the gates of the village. We all gathered around. "I can use my powers to teleport us there." Celes said holding her nagitana close.

"Let me go with you." Ishiyuki said behind me. "If I'm with you guys they'll let you into the gates of the city with no questions."

We all looked at Angel and she nodded. "Alright," Celes said. "Join in."

Celes chanted words while she unraveled the ribbon from around her nagitana. Saying her last words she threw the loose ribbon into the air, the ribbon then spiraled in an oval big enough for a human to fit through. A light glowed and the wind from the hole between the ribbon blew violently. Soon a yellow light shined between the ribbon.

Celes was the fist to step into the warp hole. Everyone stepped into the warp whole one at a time. I stepped into the warp whole before Ishiyuki. It barely took even a half a second before I was stepping out to look at the beautiful city of Talisho. As soon as Ishiyuki stepped outside. Celes chanted two words and the portal disappeared back into a ribbon and twirled back onto her nagitana. We stood only minutes away from the city.

"Let's go." Angel said walking ahead of us.

We all followed behind. I must have been the only nervous person in the whole group.
