We soon reached Sistoca. It was a place full of rich people and stubborn people. At least that's what Moonlight tells me. Maybe, just maybe this is the village I'm from. I ringed the bell at the gate and a young man peeked his head out of the gates wall. "Who be you all?" He asked us.
"Just humble travelers. Looking for food and supplies." I answered bowing.
"Leave your weapons." he said rudely.
We did as he said. When he closed the peek hole Ledia casts a spell on our weapons so that no one may touch them. When the gates opened we entered. A couple of men stood behind the short man that was rude to us. At first I was wondering what the men were there for, but then they frisked us to make sure we had no weapons.
"What's you name?" He nervously asked Ledia.
"My name is Ledia." She replied a little surprised.
"L-L-Ledia!?!" He studdered wide eyed. He then fell to his knees and started to kiss her feet. Ledia's face turned a reddish color at the shocking worship. "I adore you, Ledia!" He said. "Marry me?"
Ledia then grew wide eyed. "I...don't think so little man. Maybe in the next lifetime."
The little man nodded. "If you say so, my love." I can just imagine little hearts floating around his head. "As mayor of this town, I will personally make sure that you and your friends get nothing but the best service."
Everyone's faces lite up at what the mayor said. Soon everyone split up to do their own things except me and Moonlight. We stood looking at each other for a second before we heard yelling.
"NO!" The young girl yelled. "You can't stop me from marrying him, father!"
"Daughter!" The man yelled chasing after the woman. "I will not allow you to marry that dirty scum!"
"I don't car! I will!" She yelled back.
"If you do, I will disown you! You will no longer be my daughter." He yelled.
"Now you call me daughter!" She screamed. "Before you called me a wench! So now it's daughter!? I wouldn't call you a father anymore! You weren't much of a father any ways!"
The man just gave out a grunt and stormed away. The girl just gave out a cry and covered her face with her hands. Moonlight gave the girl a sympathetic look and walked over to her. I followed behind. "What's wrong, my friend?" she asked the girl.
The girl looked up at us with tear filled eyes. "Who are you?"
"I am Angel and this is Moonlight." we both bowed to the girl. "We are only travelers and we mean no harm."
"I am Lady Schala," She bowed. "Please excuse the argument before, it was just my stubborn father."
"Talk to me, Lady Schala." Moonlight said soft and calmly.
"I wish not to talk about anything." she sobbed sitting down of a stone surrounding a pond in the middle of the village, lightly stirring her and in the pond's crystal clear water.
Moonlight then sat down next to her. "If you don't talk about it how will it make you feel better?" Moonlight said gently putting her hand on Lady Schala's shoulder.
"Alright," Lady Schala looked at Moonlight. "If you say it will make me feel better." She whipped the tears form her eyes. "I want to marry this man named, Alucard. The only thing is... my father refuses to let me wed to him. I love him more than life its self. I know he loves me the same way. Only it's my father keeping us apart."
"Look," I said. "If you want to marry him then marry him"
"I don't know--" Lady Schala said.
I interrupted her. "Do you want what you want or what your father wants?"
"I want what I want." Lady Schala said softly.
"Then go for it. Even if your dad is gonna disown you. At least you're gonna be happy...with the one you love." I said more softly then before.
"Angel's right," Moonlight said. "It's your time. Your father already has his happiness. His children, a wife. Now it's your turn. Choose who you want. No matter who you choose. Alucard or you father?"
"I...I choose Alucard." Lady Schala said more happy.
"Choose me for what?" Alucard said behind me.
"OH, Alucard!" Lady Schala screamed running to give him a hug. "I choose to marry you. Even against my fathers wishes."
Alucard put his arms around Lady Schala. "I love you." He said.
Lady Schala then leaned her head back to look at him. "I love you too. More then anything else in the whole world."
Alucard laughed hugging Lady Schala more tightly. They looked to nicely together. Lady Schala with her white hair tied up in a pony tail and wearing a beautiful sky blue kimono with white-pink flowers. Alucard wore his blonde hair down. Wearing a white ruffled shirt with undone strings showing off his chest with a vest with gold trims. With midnight blue slacks that matched the vest. He almost looked like a swords man that just rescued a beautiful princess.
"We should get married at once, before anyone stops us." Alucard suggested, Lady Schala nodded in agreement.
Lady Schala's father didn't once stand against the wedding, only cooped himself in his house. Moonlight, Celes, Mingi, and I all went with Lady Schala to pick out a beautiful wedding dress. Cecil, Kannuki, and well Fenrir did go with only the store said 'no pets allowed' which angered Fenrir.
The wedding was wonderful, we had it in the village they put a big bridge over the pond where Alucard and Lady Schala said their vows and finally kissed in the end. Lady Schala had a beautiful red dress with a mixture of Chinese symbols of happiness and flowers and butterflies. She wore a yellow sash over her face and Alucard...well let's just say he looked like a prince. Alucard had picked out a bouquet of flowers for Lady Schala.
Lady Schala then turned to the crowd and told us whom ever caught the bouquet will receive the glory of marriage. She threw the bouquet and everyone argued to grab it, but Lady Schala threw it farther than everyone thought. The bouquet landed in Celes's lap. She then yelped with glee and gave Cecil a kiss on the cheek, that's when both their chairs fell back causing to whole crowd to laugh.
Lady Schala and Alucard had a happy ending. What about the rest of us? Will our journey end happy? That is one question that I have to wait for. To search for the answer. That's what I have to do. Search. Lot's of hints have been handed to me, but a lot of it still makes no sense.
I then looked at Ledia who was telling the little mayor to do things. The mayor almost looked like a puppy following Ledia everywhere she went. I couldn't help, but giggle. Ledia should of course get some credit for the wedding. If it wasn't for her and her adoring fan, Lady Schala and Alucard never would of had their beautiful wedding.
After the party of singing and dancing after the wedding, we all stuffed ourselves with cake and wonderful Chinese food. We then all gathered outside the gates of the village Sistoca, we waved good-bye to the village people. Celes had her arm around Cecil’s arm and held the bouquet in the other. I know they will soon have a happy ending.
Lady Schala and Alucard then ran up to me and Moonlight. "Please," Alucard bowed. "Take these gifts in thanks for helping."
"Yes," Moonlight bowed. "Please."
Lady Schala handed her present to Moonlight and Alucard gave his to me. At first we looked at each other. We then slipped the lid of the box open. In my box there was a beautiful hair pin. Moonlight had a glittering sash. I put the pin in my hair and Moonlight tied the sash around her waste.
"Thank you," Moonlight said looking down at the sash. "It's beautiful." she bowed.
"Thank you." I bowed.
"Anytime." Alucard slipped his hand around Lady Schala's waste and they waved good-bye to us as we walked away.
Before hand, Lady Schala said we should head northwest to Xiasho village. She doesn't know what the village is like only knows it's the closest village.
