#3 ROLLERBLADING BEAUTY
I woke up early one morning before the sun had risen.
Sweating and my cheeks red,
I had dreamed about the girl again. I couldn't remember about any part of the dream, all
I remember is that I couldn't get her out of my mind.
I haven't seen her at the beach shore for three days now. From sunrise until
sunset I sit there waiting for her. I barely get any sleep and when I do I dream of her.
I went to the same spot again; hoping to see her but never did. By the afternoon
I decided to try and take my mind off her for a bit and have fun. I decided to go
rollerblading with my friend Jeff.
We sped side by side for a bit talking and having fun; my mind was finally off
her. Jeff got hungry and said he was going to get something to eat, I decided to skate on
for a bit and then met him there.
He left, I then looked forward and saw her rollerblading and having a good
time. I wanted to get her attention so I used my acting skills. I skated like a beginner to
her then slipped and fell right in front of her. Even though I felt like a jerk, it
worked. She skated up to me and asked me if I was okay. I told her it was my first time
using rollerblades.
I got up and fell again not on purpose and ended up pulling her down too. She
landed across my chest laughing. She got up, I did too without falling. I apologized for
what I did. She scooted it aside and offered to show me how to skate a bit.
I accepted of course. We skated for hours, and with just hearing her soft, sweet
voice, I seemed to really forget how to skate.
By the time the sun was about to set I got the hang of it and remembered how
to skate. She then slowed down and stopped, so did I. She watched the sun fade into the
horizon. "Oh, isn't it beautiful?" She said as though lost in her breath and me
not able to take my eyes off her. "I can stand here forever watching the sunset over and
over again. It holds many special moments, like when a guy meets a girl.
Bringing them into a romantic stage where they are unable to escape..."
She never finished, shook her head and then left, without saying a word of
good-bye.
And the day rolled by as my love for her just grew stronger.
#4 A SURGE OF JEALOUSY
This morning my friend Jeff had phoned me saying he wanted to meet me at
the public beach.
My mind seemed somewhat off her when Jeff called. On my walk to go see
him I realized that I haven't told him about the mysterious girl. I decided to tell him
about her when we go boogie boarding today.
When I got to the public beach I looked for Jeff, he didn't wait for me where he
said to meet him at. I found him not to far with a girl he was flirting with.
Nothing could keep him away from girls; especially when he's single. I couldn't
make out who the girl was with the sun in my eyes, but I made my way toward them.
As I got closer I finally could see who it was. It was the mysterious girl. I
couldn't turn back or run away because Jeff had spotted me.
"There he is!" he grabbed me and took me closer to the mysterious girl."This is
the boy I was looking for."
She smiled at me. "So you're the master boogie boarder?"
I blushed. "Nah, only against Jeff here, because he's not that good."
They both laughed. She then said that she had to leave, there were things she
had to do. All I could do was stare at her beautiful face. I finally noticed that all she was
looking at was my friend, Jeff. When I tried to drag him away to talk to him he
wouldn't leave. I had gotten mad and walked away when I turned to look she was
writing something on his hand and then gave him a kiss on the cheek.
I wished that was my cheek, I then felt jealousy. Jealousy that I wanted her to
give me her number and the kiss to be on my cheek, not his.
Jeff then was done talking to her then ran to me. "What's up with you?" He
asked.
I then blurted out everything so very fast that I never noticed most of the stuff I
said. But the one thing I heard was that I said I loved her.
Jeff never realized what exact feelings I had for her until then. But he told me
that he felt he same about her too, but he gave me her number. I never thought I'd be so
happy. Now all I need to know is her name, but Jeff never got her name.
#5 FOREVER YOURS
I called her house that day she answered the phone. I couldn't speak; I couldn't
say a word. So I hung up the phone. I called Jeff, he asked me if I said anything. I told
him I couldn't say a word, I was too nervous that my heart nearly jumped out
my chest.
He then came over he called her, he sat there and talked to her. He wrote down
on a piece of paper while he was talking to her that she had a lot to tell.
Then he told her that he had a friend that wanted to met her and they both could
have a blind date.
She didn't like the idea at first but went ahead with it. She told Jeff to tell his
friend to meet her at the public beach at the main entrance.
I was over excited and couldn't wait to go I got all dressed up and kept asking
Jeff if I looked alright. Jeff told me to loosen up and be calm or she wouldn't like me. I
got calm fast.
We headed to the main entrance at the public
beach. When I saw her she was looking down and I couldn't walk any further.
Jeff made me walk up to her. She smiled and said hi to Jeff first then me. I noticed that
she starred at me a lot or was it just my imagination?
Jeff soon left leaving me and her alone. We talked for hours. Until the sun was
about to set.
"Isn't it beautiful?" I said. She turned and looked as though she were in a
trance. She snuggled up into my arms "I love the sunset," she finally said.
Suddenly as though she just woke up; she jumped away from me and told me
she had to leave or else she'd be late.
I was unable to get her name as she ran away; all I could do was watch her run.
#6 ALL EYES ON HER
One night around 9:00 or so, Jeff called saying here was going to be a beach
party tomorrow night at 9:00 to 12:00. He said it'd be a good thing for me to get my
mind off the mysterious girl. So I agreed to go, at least I need something to do
without her on my mind.
The next day me and Jeff went everywhere and did everything. I didn't have her
on my mind all day, until the sun was about to set. I then ran to the spot where I first
saw her. Jeff called my name but I still ran. When I got there she wasn't
anywhere in sight. I felt my heart sink. I felt so sad to not see her face one more time.
Jeff then caught up with me and I told him that this was the exact spot where I
saw her for the first time.
I sank back into a bench just behind me. I sat there and told him how happy I
was that he had me and her have a blind date. I also told him how much I loved her,
even though I don't know her that well.
9:00 o'clock soon came. Jeff led the way to the beach party. It was dark outside
and not many people were left on the beach; all getting ready to leave and go home.
From a distance we could see a fire burning. We ran down the hill to the sandy
beach. People were already showing up and had started a fire.
We sat down and chatted for awhile, I made new friends. Then something
shimmery blue caught my eye. I turned in it's direction and this person was walking
towards us, as soon as the face got into view I looked straight into her eyes; she
into mine and smiled.
Soon all the guys turned and looked at her. "What's wrong? Why don't you start
some music? Isn't this a party?"
Someone then turned on music, everyone got up to dance. I just stood around
looking for her. She wasn't in sight.
I felt this tap on my shoulder, I spun around in shock, and there she was.
She came close to my face "Yesterday was nothing. Pretend we didn't ever
meet." That was all she said then turned and diapered in the crowd. I looked around for
her but couldn't find her.
Until next time... I'll have to wait until the next time I see her.
#7 NIGHT'S BEAUTY
For days I never went anywhere. I just stayed in my room letting time pass by. During those days I couldn't get that mysterious girl out of my mind. I decided to call her angel, she is my angel.
Later that day Jeff called, he told me I needed to get out and my parents were bothering him because I kept myself couped up in my room.
I barely paid attention to him talking to me, my mind was always drifting away. The only other thing I did hear was that he was going to come over. I said okay and hung up the phone.
With in a few minutes he was at my house. We stood in silence for awhile, when Jeff decided that he'd take me for a walk. I put on my jacket and headed out the door with Jeff.
We walked in silence for a long time letting the cool air blow upon us. I continuously storred at the ground not paying attention to anything.
Jeff then poked me with his elbow, I looked up at hem and he pointed ahead of us. My breath caught in my throught when I looked at what he was pointing at.
It was my angel. She stood by the shore of the ocean, gripping her jacket tight, starring down to where the ocean burshed against the earth. I then realized that this was the exact spot that she had placed the items that she had sent
