A STORY OF TRUE LOVE

Everyone must read this story about a boy who stumbles upon a
mysterious girl who steals his heart and blows him away like
the wind and even though he doesn't know her, he feels
himself being pulled deep down into a trance of love...

#1 WATCHING THE SUNSET

The first time I saw her was at the beach shore. I was on my
way to go boogie boarding, but I saw her there watching the
sunset. I don't know why; I just stood there watching her.
Watching her hair sparkle in the sunset sky. I thought she
was so beautiful and mysterious.

I watched her every move, I couldn't take my eyes off her.
She wore a bathing suit top and a pair of cut offs, with a
thin white shirt that was open and flying in the soft
breeze.

She sat on the beach sand for a bit watching the sun slowly
make its way down. She suddenly then got up and removed her
thin blouse and sandles. She walked into the water. She took
a short swim then returned to the shore, she then played
around by herself in the water.

My eyes slowly shut as I saw the last image of her. but she
was still in my mind. I imagined that I was there playing in
the water with her and having a good time.

When I opened my eyes to see her she was gone. I had missed
her, she was gone. My heart then felt heavy with grief and
ready to break into a million pieces. I then felt what many
people had asked me over and over again and that was
"Love".

#2 OCEAN FLOOR

The next day I waited at the same place I had seen her the
day before. I waited all day until the sun was at the peek of
setting.

At first I was mesmerized by the beautiful colors the sun
made. Then I saw her walking on the shore of the beach,
letting the water touch her feet.

I lost my breath, I couldn't believe it was her. Of course I
was shocked at how my heart was ready to burst out of my
chest. I watched her walk with the wind blowing through her
hair, and the beauty of her skin reflecting off the rays of
the sunset sky.

She had some things gripped in her hands. I couldn't make
out what they were from the distance I was at.

She kneeled by the shore with her back facing me. She
kneeled there, to what looked like she was arranging the
items she had with her.

Finally she got up and headed away. I watched her walk away;
the sun was not completely set yet so I could see her face
but a little. She seemed sad and gloomy and I wondered what
the those items were and what caused her to be all
sad. I continued to watch her 'til she was out of sight.

I finally got up and walked down the grassy hill to the
sandy beach, I walked up to the items she had placed there.
She set them right where the ocean was able to wash them
away.

There was a picture of her and a boy I assumed she was
related to. A beautiful necklace that looked to be worth a
lot, and a card with a heart where she drew a zig-zag line to
make it look like it was a broken heart.

Curious I picked it up and looked inside. It wrote:

Dear Ocean Floor,

This is me again and my third boyfriend.

He had broken my heart; take him and throw his evil deeds

to all girls, deep into the ocean floor; under the sands to

where no one may find.

P.S. and take my broken feelings; I want to stand high

and never think of another boy or love again.

The name she wrote seemed to be in scribbles and I couldn't
read it that well. Then I started to feel sad.

And my love just grew stronger.

#3 ROLLERBLADING BEAUTY

I woke up early one morning before the sun had risen.

Sweating and my cheeks red, I had dreamed about the girl
again. I couldn't remember about any part of the dream, all I
remember is that I couldn't get her out of my mind.

I haven't seen her at the beach shore for three days now.
From sunrise until sunset I sit there waiting for her. I
barely get any sleep and when I do I dream of her.

I went to the same spot again; hoping to see her but never
did. By the afternoon I decided to try and take my mind off
her for a bit and have fun. I decided to go rollerblading
with my friend Jeff.

We sped side by side for a bit talking and having fun; my
mind was finally off her. Jeff got hungry and said he was
going to get something to eat, I decided to skate on for a
bit and then met him there.

He left, I then looked forward and saw her rollerblading
and having a good time. I wanted to get her attention so I
used my acting skills. I skated like a beginner to her then
slipped and fell right in front of her. Even though I felt
like a jerk, it worked. She skated up to me and asked me if I
was okay. I told her it was my first time using
rollerblades.

I got up and fell again not on purpose and ended up pulling
her down too. She landed across my chest laughing. She got
up, I did too without falling. I apologized for what I did.
She scooted it aside and offered to show me how to skate a
bit.

I accepted of course. We skated for hours, and with just
hearing her soft, sweet voice, I seemed to really forget how
to skate.

By the time the sun was about to set I got the hang of it
and remembered how to skate. She then slowed down and
stopped, so did I. She watched the sun fade into the horizon.
"Oh, isn't it beautiful?" She said as though lost in her
breath and me not able to take my eyes off her. "I can stand
here forever watching the sunset over and over again. It
holds many special moments, like when a guy meets a girl.
Bringing them into a romantic stage where they are unable to
escape..."

She never finished, shook her head and then left, without
saying a word of good-bye.

And the day rolled by as my love for her just grew
stronger.

#4 A SURGE OF JEALOUSY

This morning my friend Jeff had phoned me saying he
wanted to meet me at the public beach.

My mind seemed somewhat off her when Jeff called. On my
walk to go see him I realized that I haven't told him about
the mysterious girl. I decided to tell him about her when we
go boogie boarding today.

When I got to the public beach I looked for Jeff, he
didn't wait for me where he said to meet him at. I found him
not to far with a girl he was flirting with.

Nothing could keep him away from girls; especially when
he's single. I couldn't make out who the girl was with the
sun in my eyes, but I made my way toward them.

As I got closer I finally could see who it was. It was
the mysterious girl. I couldn't turn back or run away because
Jeff had spotted me.

"There he is!" he grabbed me and took me closer to the
mysterious girl."This is the boy I was looking for."

She smiled at me. "So you're the master boogie
boarder?"

I blushed. "Nah, only against Jeff here, because he's not
that good."

They both laughed. She then said that she had to leave,
there were things she had to do. All I could do was stare at
her beautiful face. I finally noticed that all she was
looking at was my friend, Jeff. When I tried to drag him away
to talk to him he wouldn't leave. I had gotten mad and walked
away when I turned to look she was writing something on his
hand and then gave him a kiss on the cheek.

I wished that was my cheek, I then felt jealousy. Jealousy
that I wanted her to give me her number and the kiss to be on
my cheek, not his.

Jeff then was done talking to her then ran to me. "What's
up with you?" He asked.

I then blurted out everything so very fast that I never
noticed most of the stuff I said. But the one thing I heard
was that I said I loved her.

Jeff never realized what exact feelings I had for her
until then. But he told me that he felt he same about her
too, but he gave me her number. I never thought I'd be so
happy. Now all I need to know is her name, but Jeff never got
her name.

#5 FOREVER YOURS

I called her house that day she answered the phone. I
couldn't speak; I couldn't say a word. So I hung up the
phone. I called Jeff, he asked me if I said anything. I told
him I couldn't say a word, I was too nervous that my heart
nearly jumped out my chest.

He then came over he called her, he sat there and talked
to her. He wrote down on a piece of paper while he was
talking to her that she had a lot to tell.

Then he told her that he had a friend that wanted to met
her and they both could have a blind date.

She didn't like the idea at first but went ahead with it.
She told Jeff to tell his friend to meet her at the public
beach at the main entrance.

I was over excited and couldn't wait to go I got all
dressed up and kept asking Jeff if I looked alright. Jeff
told me to loosen up and be calm or she wouldn't like me. I
got calm fast.

We headed to the main entrance at the public
beach. When I saw her she was looking down and I couldn't
walk any further. Jeff made me walk up to her. She smiled and
said hi to Jeff first then me. I noticed that she starred at
me a lot or was it just my imagination?

Jeff soon left leaving me and her alone. We talked for
hours. Until the sun was about to set.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I said. She turned and looked as
though she were in a trance. She snuggled up into my arms "I
love the sunset," she finally said.

Suddenly as though she just woke up; she jumped away from
me and told me she had to leave or else she'd be late.

I was unable to get her name as she ran away; all I
could do was watch her run.

#6 ALL EYES ON HER

One night around 9:00 or so, Jeff called saying here was
going to be a beach party tomorrow night at 9:00 to 12:00. He
said it'd be a good thing for me to get my mind off the
mysterious girl. So I agreed to go, at least I need something
to do without her on my mind.

The next day me and Jeff went everywhere and did
everything. I didn't have her on my mind all day, until the
sun was about to set. I then ran to the spot where I first
saw her. Jeff called my name but I still ran. When I got
there she wasn't anywhere in sight. I felt my heart sink. I
felt so sad to not see her face one more time.

Jeff then caught up with me and I told him that this
was the exact spot where I saw her for the first time.

I sank back into a bench just behind me. I sat there
and told him how happy I was that he had me and her have a
blind date. I also told him how much I loved her, even though
I don't know her that well.

9:00 o'clock soon came. Jeff led the way to the beach
party. It was dark outside and not many people were left on
the beach; all getting ready to leave and go home.

From a distance we could see a fire burning. We ran
down the hill to the sandy beach. People were already showing
up and had started a fire.

We sat down and chatted for awhile, I made new friends.
Then something shimmery blue caught my eye. I turned in it's
direction and this person was walking towards us, as soon as
the face got into view I looked straight into her eyes; she
into mine and smiled.

Soon all the guys turned and looked at her. "What's
wrong? Why don't you start some music? Isn't this a
party?"

Someone then turned on music, everyone got up to dance.
I just stood around looking for her. She wasn't in sight.

I felt this tap on my shoulder, I spun around in shock,
and there she was.

She came close to my face "Yesterday was nothing.
Pretend we didn't ever meet." That was all she said then
turned and diapered in the crowd. I looked around for her
but couldn't find her.

Until next time... I'll have to wait until the next
time I see her.

#7 NIGHT'S BEAUTY

For days I never went anywhere. I just stayed in my room
letting time pass by. During those days I couldn't get that
mysterious girl out of my mind. I decided to call her angel,
she is my angel.

Later that day Jeff called, he told me I needed to get out
and my parents were bothering him because I kept myself
couped up in my room.

I barely paid attention to him talking to me, my mind was
always drifting away. The only other thing I did hear was
that he was going to come over. I said okay and hung up the
phone.

With in a few minutes he was at my house. We stood in silence
for awhile, when Jeff decided that he'd take me for a walk. I
put on my jacket and headed out the door with Jeff.

We walked in silence for a long time letting the cool air
blow upon us. I continuously storred at the ground not paying
attention to anything.

Jeff then poked me with his elbow, I looked up at hem and he
pointed ahead of us. My breath caught in my throught when I
looked at what he was pointing at.

It was my angel. She stood by the shore of the ocean,
gripping her jacket tight, starring down to where the ocean
burshed against the earth. I then realized that this was the
exact spot that she had placed the items that she had sent
away into the ocean.

She looked so beautiful, with the wind blowing through her
hair and the glow of the moon reflecting off her beautiful
skin. I continued to stare at her till I felt something
shaking me.

Jeff was shaking me, calling my name. I snapped back to
reality and looked at where my angel was standing, but she
was no longer there. Jeff told me he was trying to get my
attention for awhile. I asked where my angel went and he told
me that she wasn't even there.

I started to feel pain in my chest. I couldn't believe that
now I was starting to imagine things. I missed seeing her. I
wanted her to be there, I wanted to have her there with me.
Loving me the same way that I love her.

I left Jeff and ran home, not saying a word to anybody and
just stayed in my room starring at the ceiling till I fell
asleep.

In my dreams I saw her face, I saw her kissing me, having fun
with me. Everything I wanted I dreamed about that night.

I have to find you, I thought. My heart can't take it
anymore. I must find you and make you understand my feelings.

#8 THE SHORE GODDESS

It was early one morning, I tried to remember what day it
was, but I couldn't. So many days passed with my mind far
away that I couldn't even think straight.

I couln't stand prisoning myself in my room anymore. I
decided to take a walk by the shore of the ocean, like old
times. Maybe this time I can at least think about something
else.

I changed my clothes and left the house. Everyone was still
asleep, it must be really early. I was so eager to leave that
I didn't even bother to look at any of the clocks to see what
time it was.

When I got to the beach I removed the sandles that I was
wearing and let the cool water brush against my warm feet
while I walked. The sun was shining in the background but not
yet visible. Turning the sky into beautiful colors, almost as
though it was setting.

I looked ahead of me then I noticed my beautiful angel
walking to the shore. I blinked a couple of times making
sure. I wsn't imagining things. She was still there. Her head
slowly turned in my direction after she sat by the shore
cradling her knees in her arms.

She starred at me with blank eyes then turned back to the
colored horizone. I took a deep breath and gathered up my
guts to walk up to her.

I took a couple of steps then stopped. Don't be foolish, I
told myself. What would she see in you? No, I thought again,
I must talk to her.

I walked all the way up to her. She looked up at me. "Hi,"
she said with a beautiful smile. I tried to say something but
found my words all caught in my throght. "What's the matter?"
She asked, releasing my words.

"I-I--can I join you?" I finally got out. I felt a little
lighter when I finally talked.

"You must be very shy." She said looking at me. "Well-" I
started the grew silent. She then started laughing.

"You weren't so shy that one time your friend Jeff jad us to
out." I blushed. "You just let everything out. So, what
happened to you?"

"Maybe, because I have a crush." I felt my face grow red and
hot. She gave me this serious look, "You're serious aren't
you?" I replied, "Yeah."

"Well-" she began before I cut her off "I'm not trying to
rush you or anything you. I just had this big weight on me
that I really had to load off. I confessed it to you. I-I
really have a crush on you...and I would like to get to know
you and you to get to know me."

She looked at me in silence the spoke, "I'm not to well on
relationships--" I cut her off again, "That's why I want to
get to know you, I'm a nice guy- truely. If you don't like me
then I understand."

She smiled slightly, "Well, first off, you can stop
interupting me. Secondly, you're the first guy that has ever
been shy, yet talkative and understandable as well." She
looked at me and I could feel my face getting redder than
ever. "Sure, I'd like to get to know you, how 'bout tomorrow
we go rollerblading, say noon?"

My whole body tingled with excitement, I felt a new feeling
and I jumped up hooting and screaming "Yeah!" She stood up as
well laughing.

Tomorrow will be a day I'll never forget.

#9 YOU ARE ON MY MIND

I woke up early the next day and called Jeff, talking so fast
and excited he had to slow me down. He said he was happy for
me, then asked if I got her name. I then smacked myself in
the head, I can't believe I forgot to ask for her name.

I told Jeff that I would ask later on today, I told him what
time I was going to meet her. It was 10:00 I had so much time
to linger around. A thought then accured, I should get her a
gift, but I was broke. I asked Jeff how much money he had. He
said that he had $20 and why. I told him my plan and he
agreed.

We met half way and headed to the mall. We went through lots
of stores before finding one with the perfect gift for her.
It was a small ceramic statue, there was a boy and an angel,
they both held onto a heart. It was avsolutly perfect. Jeff
bought the gift and the store clerk wrapped it for free.

When I looked at my watch, I had 30 minutes to get to my
house grab my blades and run. I met up whith my angel, and
everything I had thought before seemed to float away. We
skated atound asking many questions bout each other, we
seemed so perfect.

Suddenly I remembered the gift I had gotten for her. I pulled
it out of my backpack. At first she shook it, but I told her
it was fragile. She smiled at me while she opened it. When
she pulled the small statue out of the box she gasped. "It's
beautiful," she sighed. "It's a symbol of you and me," I said
"I'm the boy and you're the angel."

She gave me a sly smile, when she turned her head a boy was
heading in our direction yelling her name, "Angel!" Her name
is Angel I thought, then I realized that the boy looked
familiar. Yes, it was the boy in the photo. Angel's ex-
boyfriend.

He marched up to me and her "What do you think you're doing?"
He yelled. "What I please!" Angel snapped back. His face grew
red with anger, "I refuse you to go out with any other guy
other than me!" Angel seemed to get angery as well, "YOU,
don't own me, Eric! I can do what I choose to do!"

Then I noticed four of Erics friends show up, two grabbed
hold of Angel. When I tried to help, the other two pushed me
back and I fell. The two guys and Eric all ganged up on me,
kicking and punching me. I could hear Angel in the background
screaming for them to stop.

They finally stopped and my whole body hurt. Eric then walked
before me, I looked up and he held my present to Angel in his
hand. "No one can have her," he said before smashing the
statue into timey pieces, right before my eyes.

They let go of Angel and she ran up to me cradling me in her
arms. When Eric and his friends left, she help me up. We
looked at what reamained of my present. "Now you know why I'm
afraid to see other guys." I looked at her, "I
understand....guess this is good-bye." I said. "Yeah," she
silently whispered.

Just before she left I grabbed onto her arm, "Look, no matter
how hard I can try, you'll never leave my mind. I feel as
though I'm obsessed, I only wish things could work out. You
are on my mind...all the time..."

I couldn't finish my sentence. She only gave me a sypathetic
look before leaving me.

#10 "IS THIS SEAT TAKEN?"

My body still had a few bruses from the day Angel's ex-
boyfriend and his two friends beat me up. A week, it's been a
whole week since that one unforgetable day. I told Jeff what
happened that day, he was shocked and surprised. As well as
angry. He even wanted to know if I wanted to gather up some
friends to find and beat down Eric and his friends.

I refused of course, but I don't know why. Some how deep
inside myself I know Angel still loves Eric. Jeff then
offered to go look for Angel and talk to her and see if he
could just talk to her and see what's up. I agreed to that
and he hung up the phone.

I'm still sitting on my bed, starring at my fiddling fingers,
wondering when Jeff is gonna find her. The phone then rang, I
ran to go pick it up. Jeff was on the other end. He told me
that he did find her and she was in mourning about what
happened to me. He told me that she still did have feelings
for Eric, but then again she's starting to have stronge
feelings for me. Jeff said that he only talked to her for a
bit, then left her because she wasn't in such a good mood to
talk to anybody.

I decided to give Angel a few days to think before I went
looking for her to talk to her. When I went to sleep that
night I had several nightmares about me going to see her. It
scared me more than anything, but my mind was made. I was
still going to talk to her.

It was a new day, it felt like a hundred years, I changed my
mind but a little. I was going to see Angel today. I couldn't
wait another day, I had to see her. I changed my clothes and
got ready to search throughout the beach and everywhere else
for her.

I started where all the stores were, then I found her at a
table at a small cappaccino restraunt, a place a lot of teens
hang out at. I never really like cappaccino, so, I've never
been there before. I walked all the way up to the table she
was seated at.

"Is this seat taken?" I asked. Angel looked up at me...I felt
a lump in my throght. It wasn't Angel. The girl did look a
lot like her that I thought it was her, but she wasn't.

My eyes started to sting. I can't believe I'm about to cry. I
then heard Jeff calling my name. I turned and looked at him
and he asked what's the matter with me. I told him about the
girl and it not being her.

Jeff told me he had something to show me and that I should
come with him to see it. I followed him all the way to the
beach. He pointed ahead of him. I stepped forward to see what
he was pointing at.

It was Angel, she sat in the same spot where I first met her.
Jeff pushed me to go talk to her. I slowly walked up to her.
"Hi," I said quietly. She turned and looked at me. "Eric's
coming to see me." She said. "I don't care...he can beat me
up again if he wants. It's not gonna stop my love for you."
She then looked at me with different eyes.

She stood up, still looking at me. Eric then approached us,
but our eyes never broke. I heard Eric call Angel a couple of
times. Our faces then came close, and we had our first kiss,
the best ever. We continued to kiss with our arms wrapped
around each other, when Eric walked away, probably heart
broken. I sure didn't care.

From that day on, me and Angel have been going together. It's
been three years since our first kiss, and a thousand
more...I still have the same feelings for my Angel.
